Geocache Description:
Cache In Trash Out

Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the Geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 363,000 people have volunteered at 18,000 CITO events. Twice per year, geocachers can earn virtual souvenirs by hosting and attending events during CITO seasons.
Visit the Help Center for information on the next CITO season.
Attend CITO Events
At CITO events, geocachers and community groups work together to improve parks, beaches and other outdoor environments. They clean up litter, plant trees, remove invasive species, build trails, and more. CITO every day
CITO can happen on every geocaching adventure! Pick up trash that you see on the trail. Clean up the area around each geocache. These small acts make a huge difference.
Always cache with a litter bag!
Join us at Salmon Bay Beach and let's pick up the plastic litter, noodles and prevent some of it getting into our beautiful Oceans.
