This cache is part of a series about the movie ‘A Christmas Story.’ Set in the late 1930's the film centers around 9-year old Ralphie Parker's attemps to convince his mother to get him a Red Ryder B.B. gun for Christmas.  Have fun experiencing the whimsical moments that have made this movie a seasonal classic since 1983. Note 1: Tap the image on each cache page to see a movie clip of the cache's theme. Note 2: The hides are numbered to coincide with the order that their event appears in the movie.Â
Ralphie and his friends are continually tormented by the neighborhood bully Scut Farkus and his little toadie, Grover Dill. After being bullied yet again, Ralphie finally snaps and beats up a very startled Farkus. To this day, the incident is referred to by the Parker family as the ‘Scut Farkus Affair.’
This geocache is a 2-stage multi. When you locate the container you will also find the coordinates to (GC9JB59) ACS 4 - Bonus Cache, 'Grover Dill.' GREAT NEWS... Scut is feeling generous today so he has left 2 clues in the HINTS section for any of you whimpy kids that need them. Just letting you know though, he'll never let you live this down.
