Dunedin International Airport (also known as Momona Airport) lies about 22 kilometres south-west of Dunedin and was built in 1962. Although, no current international flights operate out of the airport due to Covid-19.
Dunedin airport currently (Nov 2021) has flights only to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, operated by Air New Zealand and Jetstar (Auckland only).
It has a single runway of asphalt.
