This is a traditional cache on a public walking trail on top of an ancient fossil dune high above the shore on the Western Head of Knysna Estuary in Brenton-on-Sea.
Fisherman's Walk is a unpaved cliff-top walking trail along the front of the shorefront houses on public ground, through indigenous vegetation and along beautiful gardens with spectacular ocean views. The trailhead with a wooden entrance arch is at the parking area designated in the waypoints.
We have taken care to hide the cache carefully. It is a bit trickier to find. You are searching a camouflaged small pill container with a view.
Have fun, enjoy the spectacular view as well as a stroll beyond the pavilion to the right and left along the path. If you walk to the left/east, you will have a chance to also cache Fisherman's Walk #1, the first one of this series and also hike down the roughly 300 steps to the secluded beach for a lovely walk or swim.
