Talgomine Reserve is an area of colourful wildflowers, wildlife and includes Mount Moore, a large inselberg rising out of the landscape.
From the top you will have 360-degree views of the local farming area with excellent views of the Lake Campion Nature Reserve and its amazing salt lakes.
Enter off Taglomine Reserve Road at the intersection of Young Road. The area is setup for camping with a camping toilet and campfire areas available (refer to local fire restrictions). The gravel roads are in good condition with two wheeled drive vehicles able access the area, just take care and consider the local weather conditions. Phone reception is sketchy.
The climb is steep in areas with loose rocks so take precautions and your time. The cache is an ammo can and should be an easy find.
