What: Schoozing at Wilson's anding, followed by an optional night paddle down the Wekiva River..
When: Sunday evening, 02/13/2022, from 4:00pm, to 4:30pm.
Why? Because, handegg, that's why.
So, who doesn't hate hand-egg? You know, that game where a bunch of weenies dress up in enough padding to protect a Ming vase from a 500' drop, then bounce off of each other, whilst earning 80 bazillion dollars a day? Well, this Sunday is the peak of weenie season, with the two teams which sportsed better than the other teams, bouncing off each other furiously, in between million dollar commercials. Seriously? It's enough to make a rugby fan, sick.

Let's dodge all this silliness, with a night paddle!
This event will be at Wilson's Landing. (Posted coordinates) We will schmooze for a half hour or so, whilst hauling boats to the launch, at which point we will hit the water, taking out at Highbanks Marina, in Debary. There are no parking or launch fees.
Our friends at the Coast Guard tell us, to paddle at night, you must have a PFD, a whistle and a white light capable of illuminating 360 degrees. For you Gators fans, that means bring a flashlight. Other things which I would suggest include water, snackage, safety glasses, fleece or wool outerwear, (because it stays warm when wet), a towel and change of clothes, and whatever other comfort items you might need. I expect it will be cold, so I'm bringing hand warmers.
Hope to see you there!
