Who needs an excuse for a geocaching event? No one, but if you have one you take advantage.
There are only 12 eight-digit In the Month/Day/Year Date Format Palindrome Dates in the 21st Century. That sounds like a good reason for an event on December 2, 2021 (12022021).
gnies and andPatsy have been coming to Maui from North Dakota since 2001 when we were here to celebrate our 25th anniversary. gnies got his first 6 Maui caches on 11/30/2007. Since then he has found 227 caches on our biennial visits. So with that said we wanted to meet up with cache owners on Maui and say Mahalo. We would also like to meet up with any cachers who are in the area.
We will be meeting at the Lahaina Banyan Tree. There will be a geocaching car flag visable, I hope. We will be wearing Tilley hats with Geocaching name tags.
