The Monominto Trails run through oak and aspen forests as well as wetland that is home to the Golden Winged Warbler. This was once the municipality’s landfill and lagoon so you may encounter rusted metal, glass or barbed wire. In the winter, the orange and red trails are groomed for cross-country skiing.
