Principia Hiking Trails
Welcome to the Principia hiking trails, home to over 100 acres of pristine fields, meadows, forests, and ponds. This area is truly a nature lover's paradise.
The Principia School has very generously opened their trails to the general public. This area is separate from the rest of the school facilities, but you may occasionally see other hikers along the trail. Please be respectful, courteous, and cache in trash out while in the area. You can find a map of the trail here.
This wherigo was setup to serve as a short tour of the NW corner of the Principia campus. There are several hilly areas, but you will mostly be hiking through open pastures. There are several creek crossings, but you may find bridges to cross these areas. The difficulty of the cache is rated assuming you have a working knowledge of playing wherigo cartridges. If you are not experienced in playing wherigo, the difficulty could be higher.
Trail Hours
Trail hours are 8 AM - Sunset. Please do not hike after hours and jeopardize our permission to access this beautiful area.
Parking
Parking can be found in the First Church-Christ Scientist lot (see additional waypoint). The church has very generously granted permission for geocachers to access the trails from the church parking lot. Please be courteous and respectful. Please note, permission to access the parking lot has been granted for use ONLY while geocaching.
This cache was placed with special permission from the Principia School. A huge thank you to Doug Hoff and the Principia Board for allowing this geocache.
