Oh. What's this?
The moon above is so bright, it's like I am on a completely different planet.
I squint at it, noticing the distance, the angle, the shape...
Gasping, I realise - I've woken up on Sol 3.
My ship crashed, my shipmates have abandoned me and I need to get home. But - what's this? This tiled grid in front of me? Could it be... a message from one of the crew?
All I need now is to find the machine that will let me call them.
Picking my z-pen out of my Agency-issued backpack, I start to note down the numbers. It's all in code, of course - it wouldn't do to allow the Earthlings to realise that there's a way to contact any craft in orbit just down the road from where they live. I translate it, managing to remember how to using my best Agency skills, and there we have it.
Off to find the transponder, and off planet once my friends come to pick me up. What a rough day.

There's a mosaic grid on the wall in front of you, 6x7 tiles. Use the tiles, the numbered grid below and your own powers of deduction to figure out the coordinates for the alien's transponder The transponder is located within walking distance, and on a nearby bus route. Use caution when retrieving the cache as there could be rival aliens about. Bring your own pen.
Cache is not in or on any phone box, there is no need to go into one.

A = 12/the amount of black tiles in the entire mosaic.
B = What is the answer to the life, the universe & everything? Divide that by 7.
C = The third square number.
D = As above.
E = On the very bottom row of the mosaic, how many tiles are white? Minus one from this number.
F = The number of black tiles, divided by 3
G = The number of empty tiles
H = What colour is tile number 20? Divide that number by the amount of letters in the word, and you'll get this answer.
I = Using the numbered grid attached and the tiled grid at the location, add the top three empty tiles together.
J = What is the number that has appeared most times as an answer (one of the one's you've solved) in this puzzle?
