Stachey Pete: The cache was missing during a maintenance visit. Since it needed a change in D/T anyway, a new one is being created here. If anyone finds the old cache, send the CO a photo verification of the old log sheet, log the find and keep the container. Do not take the new cache which is the same type of container.

Geocache Description:


This rest stop needed a new cache after the old one was archived. The only access to this cache is from the northbound side of I-217.

 

You are looking for a camo covered tube hanging behind a tree.

 

Getting the cache will require a short walk uphill to the treeline. Expect thicker vegetation around the hide during the Summer months and a walk through snow in the Winter.
