A quick little roadside cache at a viewpoint on the way to the little settlement of Gouna and the Diepwalle Forest. One of the most gorgeous views to be had from this road is right here in this bend of Kom-se-Pad.
Starting just outside Simola Golf Club, this is a gravel road, sometimes worse than others, which can usually be driven by a regular sedan with no problem. On the way here you cross the little bridge over the Gouna River, where Knysna Municipality pumps water into water reservoirs closer to town - one of the main pumping stations providing water for most of Knysna.
