Wasn't in the cards to publish a new cache any time soon but while out exploring, stumbled across the remnants of the Conglomerate Ascent multicache, one of the stages. Followed the clues and found a well-stocked cache container in a location that was no longer "in use". Did some quick research and discovered that this cache was archived online in 2020 after not having a new signature placed in the logbook since 2016.
Cleaned up the container, removed some contraband and garbage, and set it in a new place, deciding to bring at least this container back into the realm of fun. Hopefully the former cache owner will appreciate the reuse of the remnants that were repurposed.
Getting to this cache location will take you on an adventure across the top of Blue Pool Mesa and down into a small draw, through some brush, and down to the edge of a dryfall. So grab some snacks and water, a good off-road vehicle, and do a few stretches. Head out the door and enjoy part of your day finding this cache and soaking in the views.
