St. Paul Cemetery
North side of East Main Street, just east of Route 14, Barrington. Cuba Township, Lake County, Illinois. Maintained by St. Paul United Church of Christ, and Overlooking this small and anchient cemetary, you will find very old stones and a very cammoed greocache container. It's tiny so bring a tool to get it out.
History
The St. Paul congregation was organized in 1863, and land for the cemetery was purchased shortly thereafter. Many Evangelical Lutheran and Reformed Church settlers are buried here. Seven Civil War veterans are buried here. There are many graves from German families who began to settle the area in the 1840's and 1850's.
