Skidaway Island State Park

Skidaway Island State Park is a state park near Savannah, Georgia. Caching in Georgia, one can easily see why I am so thankful to have such wonderful state parks near me. Not only are they exceptionally well kept, they are continuously updated. The money the parks earn goes directly back into the park system. You will hear, from many visitors of the GA state park system, that Georgia State Parks have just about the best parks and facilities on the entire East Coast!

While enjoying the area, find some great caches along the vast trails around this park. There is a $5 fee to get into the park. The visitor center is newly remodeled and you will find that you can do some awesome bird watching from the big windows there. Lots of activities will keep you entertained, the trails are well maintained with history abound, and camping there is a pleasure.
