Welcome to this reverse wherigo! This is a wherigo cache with a twist. The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but you will need to collect some information from that location to begin your search. The cache is a bison tube that has only a logbook. Please bring your own writing instrument to sign the logbook and replace as found.
This Wherigo converts your player into a virtual version of the "Reverse Cache Box" which tells you the distance to the cache, but not the bearing. You may begin your search from any spot in the world using your Smartphone or Wherigo compatible GPS to navigate to the cache.

-Waldmeister-'s "The first Reverse Cache [WIG]" is the original cache in this family.
Your task is to find the cache by periodically querying your Reverse Cache Box for the distance to the final location. Try to use your Reverse Cache Box as few times as possible. All instructions and necessary information needed to complete the cartridge is contained within it. The cartridge is multilingual.

To begin, you will have to determine the three six-digit codes to enter into your player. In each case, enter or calculate the values for each of the six digits; do not multiply the six together:
To determine the first two of three six-digit codes you will need to visit the posted coordinates and answer the following 2 questions from Doris McCathy significant dates
1. What year did Doris McCarthy begin the first of 40 years teaching art at Central Technical school? This year becomes AAAA. Next some math
( AAAA x 221) + 421 will give you the first 6-digit number you need.
2. What year did Doris McCarthy receive the Order of Canada? This year becomes BBBB. Next some math
(BBBB x 214) + 790 will give you the second 6-digit number you need.
To determine the third six-digit number you need to answer the 3rd question from the Scarborough Bluffs site – significant dates, which is found on the plaque at the posted coordinates
3. What year was the first survey for residential estate lot development? This number becomes CCCC. Next some math
(CCCC x 161) + 826 will give you the third 6-digit and final number you need
Enter your three numbers in the Reverse Wherigo cartridge on your device in the order you answered the questions
It is suggested that you take the code with you on your journey. It will be needed if it becomes necessary to restart your player for any reason.
Optional:
When you have reached the final, you will be given some statistics on your quest. If you wish, you may enter the details into your log, and also post the number of times you calculated the distance.
Also, at the end of the game, you will be given a personal password. You can enter this password when you start the cartridge after you select "create" rather than "play". This password allows you to create your own reverse cache if you would like.
Please do not include hints in your log about where and how you found the cache or post photos that would give away the final location. Any logs that contains spoilers will be deleted.
