Geocache Description:

This is the commemorative geocache of the very first geocache of Chiswick.

Hogarths Hideaway, GCGJRZ, was placed in this park behind the cascade at N 051° 28.968' W 000° 15.524', the location is now unavailable to the public to protect the cascade, on 2 August 2003 by TinWha. It was a traditional cache, its D/T was 2/2, was regular in size and had no attributes. It was active for three hundred and twenty-one days, had a single favourite point and a total of seventeen finds.

The FTF belongs to cain mosni who found it on 8 August 2003 and it was last seen on 12 April 2004 by kewfriend who hid the second cache of Chiswick in the Gunnersbury Triangle (that cache has also been archived). From the original seventeen only three people geocache actively today and it was one cacher’s very first one to find. After two DNFs it was archived on 20 June 2004. With the disappearance of the cache three travelbugs were also lost: TB17A3 from Massachusetts, USA; TBG3E1 and TBG4TV from Arizona, USA.
