No school here! Traditional Cache

This cache is accessible either through the cemetery or parking and walking from the park. As the name indicates there is no school here dispite the fact that the geocaching map labels the park as "Nanken Elementary School."  Apparently there was a school here at one time but closed in 2005. I've always wondered, as there is a old black-top with a faded USA map painted on it, something reminiscent of my old school days. It would be interesting to see if I can find a picture of the building before it was torn down.  The ball fields are used in the summer and there is a nicely kept playground my kids enjoy. Please be respectful if you are entering from the cemetery side. Daytime caching recommended.  Small container, BYOP
