DATE: FRIDAY 31ST DECEMBER 2021
VENUE: PETER DEPENA PARK, DOLLS POINT, NSW
TIME: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
So long and farewell 2021!
What an unforgettable year you have been: COVID-19, lockdowns, Gladys's daily press conferences, anti-vax protests, remote learning and working from home! Another year we would really like to forget.
After a disatrous 2020 this year started with the anticipation of good times - travel, Community Celebrations, milestones, achievements, events. Who would have thought it could get any worse?
Many of us had plans to do so many wonderful things this year. Unfortunately many of these were cancelled or postponed thanks to that dreaded delta variant. We survived lockdown with virtual meetups via zoom and facetime, but it wasn't the same. With a 4 month lockdown period throught out most of NSW there were no new caches published, non-essential travel was put a hold on as we were confiend to our LGA, streaks and goals stopped, and of course there were NO EVENTS allowed until recently!
Now that we are allowed to escape outdoors again, here is an opportunity to get out there again, celebrate the return of events and meet and greet once more and say farewell to the end of a terrible 2021 with this BYE (BREW YEARS EVE) 2021 event in Southern Sydney.
WHERE: PETER DEPENA PARK, DOLLS POINT, NSW
WHEN: 10AM - 11AM.
Peter Depena Park has ample facilities for the young and old. It is a lovely location by the Georges River and Botany Bay.
There are a few local caches nearby if you haven't been there before.
There is a cafe nearby to grab a drink or bite to eat.
And of course you will be able to collect your last souvenir for 2021.

Please note: I know we are all keen to get back out to events and have not had the opportunity to catch up with each other after such a long time. But we still need to be vigilant. There will be COVID-19 measures taken to put everyone at ease. Hand sanitisier and wipes will be provided. Masks will be available, but bring your own if you wish to wear one. No food or drinks should be shared. So please bring your own snacks. And try to maintain social distancing as much as possible so we all remain safe.
