Craiglockhart Castle is a small 15th Century tower built by the Lockharts of Lee, although other sources state that it was the work of the Kincaid family during the 12th century, measuring around 8.5 metres by 7.3 metres, with walls 1.5 metres thick at the base. Originally it would have been 4 storeys.
It is now roofless and much reduced in height, on the west wall of the castle is a small doorway now filled in.
The ruin is now a B listed scheduled monument
