Wczesnym rankiem we wtorek 25 kwietnia 1939 r., na ulicy Radzymińskiej u zbiegu z Jórskiego miał miejsce niecodzienny wypadek. Pod jadącą szosą od strony Grodna kolumnę wojskową, prowadzoną przez prototypowy czołg produkcji polskiej, wyjechał motocyklista wymuszając pierwszeństwo. Kierowca-mechanik czołgu, chcąc uniknąć wypadku, błyskawicznie zjechał na pobocze, niestety łapiąc gąsienicami pobocze i wjeżdżając do rowu.
Zdarzenie było na tyle niefortunne, że z kół nośnych spadły gąsienice i ponownie udało się je dopiero nałożyć po rozebraniu części chodnika dla pieszych. Mimo tego czołg nie był w stanie wyjechać o własnych siłach i wezwano do holowania ciągnik artyleryjski krajowej produkcji. W czasie prac ratunkowych czołg osłonięto plandeką dla uniknięcia spojrzeń ciekawskich przechodniów.
Po wyrównaniu terenu czołg został wyciągnięty z rowu i pojechał dalej.

In the early morning of Tuesday, April 25, 1939, an unusual accident took place at Radzyminska Street at the intersection with Jórski Street. A motorcyclist set off under the road from Grodno, led by a prototype tank of Polish production, forcing priority. The driver-mechanic of the tank, wanting to avoid an accident, quickly pulled over to the side of the road, unfortunately catching the roadside with its tracks and driving into a ditch.
The incident was so unfortunate that the caterpillars fell off the load wheels and were reattached after dismantling a part of the footpath. Despite this, the tank was not able to leave on its own, and a Polish made artillery tractor was called upon to tow. During the rescue work, the tank was covered with a tarpaulin to avoid the prying eyes of passers-by.
After the terrain was leveled, the tank was pulled out of the ditch and continued on.
