Tree Planting New Years Eve at Horsbere Brook
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (alternative parking).
Where: Meet us on the mound (published coords)
What: Join us as we continue planting 2500 trees in the new woodland areas on The Mound. We will be planting in the area to the left of the entrance gate.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools if necessary. Please ensure you log your will attend so that the ranger knows how much equipment to bring with her.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
We are encouraging indivdiuals to work in their own groups and social distance where possible. We ask you to bring your own gloves and where appropriate tools, so if you have a spade and lump hammer that would be fab. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply.
