ISQ Charter Oak Cemetery
This cemetery lies within the Kirkland Township in DeKalb County. This is one of the three northern most townships and is slightly offset from the remaining 16 townships within DeKalb County. Originally, DeKalb County was part of Kane County. You can find many veterans buried here from the Civil War, WWI, WW2 and the Vietnam War. It holds many stories.
This part of the county settled first and was also known for the Banditos.
As with all cemeteries, please enter only during daylight hours and honor those who are buried here and their loved ones by driving only on the designated paths. If someone is visiting a grave, please return at another time to seek the geocache.
