Geocache Description:

Victoria Park is a multi-use space between Sydenham Bypass (A2) and the Harbour Estate in east Belfast. As can be seen from information points around the park, it's close to Belfast Lough, Belfast City Airport, Harland & Wolff shipyard, Bombardier (formerly Shorts) and other industrial and natural heritage sites.

The park has three concentric paths: the wide paved path which is good for a leisurely cycle around the park, the outer path which enables you to see Belfast Lough as you circumnavigate, and an inner path on the island part of the park, accessed by the bridge near the main entrance. The inner island includes football pitches, while the outer path runs past a bowling green, children's playpark, basketball court and BMX track.

Victoria Park is the end point (or starting point!) of Connswater Community Greenway, so cachers can arrive via that route and pick up other caches along the way, including Diagonal Steam Trap (GC9CJ6H), No Ferry for this Mersey (GC9CMF6), Power of the Hollow (GC9D84H), The Wall (GC9JWB9), Marsh-Wiggle Way (GC9J39A) and more... Alternatively you can park at the on-site car park, though it gets very busy at weekends.

More information on Victoria Park's amenities and access routes can be found here.

The cache

The container is a camouflaged micro/nano cache, tucked neatly away around the natural features of the park.

EDIT: This cache is proving harder for people to find than I intended, so I've added a spoiler photo to the gallery, which will help - a bit!
