Some weeks ago, while rummaging around the basement of the interwebs, I stumbled across an adventure blog that spurred me to do some exploring of my own. After some digital sleuthing, this little foray is the result.
Face Yon Ruins is the easy one—hopefully you didn't have any trouble. You might be cursing me after Run, Soy Fiancé, so here's the cache I had to move after the fiasco described on that cache description. Except for the fact that this one is thrown in a bush, it's otherwise straightforward—just climb the stairs and go down the other side just a bit.
Cache is micro/small hybrid container. Pull out the micro and open to sign the log. Tell yourself you're a Mensa candidate if you figure out the cache title(s).
Caution: Be sure to park safely off Big Tujunga. Off-trail exploration presents significant consequences. You can encounter unstable terrain, sharp objects, falling rocks, and unfriendly flora and fauna, such as poison-oak, snakes, coyotes, bears, and even mountain lions. Additionally, cell phone reception is notoriously bad in Big Tujunga Canyon. Proceed with caution, and at your own risk.
