The2Lauras: OK this bonfire was geared towas geared toward the kids we had visiting on vacation. Thing on vacation. Techdiva and I are trying to show them how interesting and fun geocaching can be. We both agree that we wanted the kids to get outdoors and using their legs and brains. I think we did that with the poker run and even at the bonfire with the memory game. This time the prizes were real and donations from businesses in Alberta. Every business I asked for help or donation gladly gave. I enjoyed the children's metal Ceremony. We had a little delay in getting the Olympic music to start but that gave more time for the kids to prepare their acting skills and do some enthusiastic crying on the podium. We all felt their triumph enjoy. Along with the prizes I presented trophies. I always make them from my heart and give them out with love. I love to celebrate 1st place and always last place. It is always in fun and I thank everyone for coming. It was a beautiful night. And again thank you sand Marcus for putting this event out on the Web. Sorry Mockingjay if I circled the park one too many times !. Thank you techdiva for the idea of pizzas and picking them up.. Perfect. I think we succeeded in not letting the kids get bored. I can't believe sand Marcus won 1st place for the poker run and 1st place for the memory game. He did leave with an abundance of prizes and trophies.....a great way to enjoy a first bonfire with us. And Amanda your lifetime achievement of geocaching award was was very deserved. You do a lot for our geocaching community and we love you for it. We will see you all next time. Happy caching!!!
