Woohooo!!! It's CITO time again!! Actually it really isn't but I really wanted to try to have a CITO in December. There is always the worry there will be too much snow to find garbage so that is why I picked this spot as it always seems to have a lot of garbage so we'll probably be able to find some even if it snows more. I also decided to do it at lunch time so it wouldn't be dark out so hopefully you can come over for a little while on your lunch break or maybe you already are done for the Christmas holidays.
This is your chance to clean up this great city and maybe find a few caches along the way. CITOs are my favourite events!! I always feel great afterwards and it is a good chance to meet up with other cachers.
We will be meeting at the posted coordinates SW of the old Coliseum at 12:00 pm noon and from there people can spread out through the area and clean up litter. There is also a park to the north that we can clean up but feel free to clean up any area nearby that you want. Due to hygiene concerns, please bring your own hand sanitizer, garbage bags, gloves and pickers. I will be supplying hand sanitizer in case you forget your own. There won't be a log book to sign as we want to make sure everyone is social distancing. We will take a group picture near the posted coordinates before the event wraps up if the group is small enough to allow for safe social distancing.
