This cache is a replacement for the original MHT #1. That one was a casualty of energetic tree trimmers.
Welcome to Rancho Cordova's newest walk/bike trail, the Mather Heritage Trail. This trail connects Mather Air Force Base to the Light Rail Station on Folsom Boulevard. It runs along an old railroad spur that used to connect the tracks at Folsom Blvd to the Base. No longer needed for trains, We're glad to see them re-use the right of way for a much nicer form of transportation.
I found this container on the side of a road last year, finally found a place to hide it. Please replace the cache so it's hidden from view of the passing muggles, hopefully it will be there a long time.
