There has been a cache at this location for most of the past decade. The last one (GC87HV4) was archived several months ago. Every cache has a purpose and these placements are intended to bring cachers to an historic and scenic location, the Hillsborough River. Although called a river, it is actually a tidal estuary throughout most of its length, including the part visible from this location. This cache is winter friendly although you may have to wade through some snow to reach it. There are some obvious parking spaces nearby.
