Please note there have been bear owl sightings in this part of the park. This large, hybrid, mammal-bird creature can be found in evergreen groves. They tend to be nocturnal and can be easily spotted after dark by their large orange glowing eyes. They sleep during the day but are easily roused. Do not approach the area if you see one as they can be protective of their territory.
