Weston Park is located in Yarralumla, off Weston Park Road. The 40-hectare park has a wading pool (operating in summer only), beach, miniature train, and cycle track. Other facilities include a playground with climbing net and swings, picnic tables, electric barbeques, public toilets, adventure playground, miniature train, disc golf, and a fixed orienteering course. Bring the kids, make an afternoon of it, go for a train ride, swim at the beach or in the wading pool, walk, cycle, and do some caching!
This cache is NOT at the posted coordinates, but you may find the cache within the vicinity as it is associated with an Adventure Lab in this park.
To find this cache, first you will need to download the Geocaching Adventure Lab app from the App store. Once installed you can then do a search for Adventure Labs within this area. The Adventure Lab associated with this cache is called ‘Weston Park Wanderings’.
This Adventure will take you to 5 locations - each location will require a question to be answered to get the Lab Cache Find. All five locations are within the park, and you will need to visit all five locations to get the required coordinates to find this bonus cache. The answer to at least one of the questions will require some simple research.
You can do these in any order you want. And make sure you read the messages of each location, or you may miss a key piece of the puzzle! Then you need to go and sign the logbook as per usual to claim the cache find.
