Prebivalci Rodika poznajo vsak košček svoje zemlje in povsod v naravi, kjer je odtis človekove roke, je zapisana zgodba. Mitski park z dvanajst mitsko-folklornimi točkami vas tako ponese v svet naših prednikov k mitski babi, kultnem kačonu, šembilji - kot hudiču na gorečem vozu, k našim prednamcem ajdom, k enigmatičnim mestom vstopa v svet mrtvih prek jam in »mrtvih počival« in do krščanskih oblikovalcev krajine.
Sprehodite se lahko po dveh poteh: med drevesi po zgornjem flišnatem brkinskem delu ali pa po trdih kraških tleh na spodnjem apnenčastem delu, kjer se krasno pelje tudi s kolesom. Sledite zemljevidu in oznakam rdeče in sive barve. Kamniti označevalec vas bo opozoril na novo točko in ko stopite čez kamniti prag vstopite v mitski svet.

brkinski del: 2h + za dodatno točko Križen drev 30 minut, za dodatno točko Pod Lisičino 20 min;
kraški del: 3h hoje, 1h s kolesom + za dodatno točko Globoka jama 40 min (15 min s kolesom)

The inhabitants of Rodik know their land like the back of their hand and a story has been written for any place in nature where one finds a human handprint. The mythical park and its 12 mythological/folklore sites take you into the world of our ancestors, to the mythical Baba, the cult snake, to "šembilja" seen as the devil driving his glowing chariot, to the bloody thigh, to our ancestors the Ajdi, to mysterious places upon entering the world of the dead through caves, and the Christian landscape designers. There are two paths to follow: walking among the trees along the upper flysch area of Brkini or along the lower hard karst area which you can also cycle. Follow the map and look out for the red and grey markings. A stone marker will also warn you of the place where you cross over a stone threshold to enter the mythical world.

The Brkini part: 2h + 30 minutes for the extra site Križen drev, 20 min for the extra site Pod Lisičino
The Karst part: 2,5h for hiking, 1,5h by bike + 40 min for the extra site Fukova jama (10 min by bike), 40 min for Globoka jama (20 min by bike)
