Drove out here for maintenance on the 23 cache and decided to explore the trail by bike. Turned out to be an unfriendly bike trail but I did get far enough to find a good hiding spot. Got back to the car & I set my gloves/Geobag (which contains GPS, scissors, logbooks, bags, pens, glasses, etc all that are needed to hide caches) on my car while I loaded the rack & bike. This completed, I got distracted by a super friendly pup and then got in my car and headed home. About 6 Ks later I noticed a glove flapping in the spokes of my bike, pulled over & saw my bag wasn't in the car. I pulled a quick U-turn and headed back, This road is by a quarry so there is a lot of heavy truck traffic. Aboutv 3Ks back I spotted the bag in the middle of the road. All was good nothing crushed or broken.
Bring a pen & be aware of bears, etc...
