No bones about it, Scareway is one the best individuals I have met while geocaching. We've gone on an adventure or two. So when I was approached to place a cache in honor of him spending another year on the planet, I was dead certain I wanted to be a part of the team. We're not talking about a skeleton crew. Lots of folks appear to agree with me that Scareway is good people.
Initially, I wanted to plant my cache in the dead center of town, but that would have been a grave mistake. My hide would have been buried among the many other hides in the area. Then it came to me; I needed to kick off out of town. I needed to find an area that wasn't like a zombie raffle. You know, a dead giveaway.
In my travels, I found the right place here outside Pleasant View cemetery. It was pretty popular. Evidently, people are just dying to get in. Also, I found out the people that live around here cannot be buried in this place. That would be because they're not dead yet and the law tends to frown on that practice.Still, I know that folks here will be social distancing. Well, by at least six feet.
So the cache is just outside the place. The address is not 1 Pasta Way, and there is no last right (rite) to enter here. You won't need a skeleton key to get in. The caretaker is not named Paul Bearer. But I digress, I've seem to have lost the plot to my story.
In all seriousness, Scareway is one good guy. I sincerely wish him all the best as on his birthday. So if you are inclined, raise a glass of spirits with me and toast to his success in all things. Happy birthday, my friend!
