Kenthurst Geotrail
Walk, drive or better still get on your bike! Riding is a great way to get out and enjoy the fresh air, get some exercise, and explore Kenthurst.
This Geotrail runs from Kenthurst Park to Round Corner for approximately 7km (one way) along the Rick Temple Memorial shared footpath. It can be done in any direction.
The route is easily accessible to cyclists, pedestrians, and those choosing to explore by car. The trail is downhill from Round Corner to Kenthurst Park and parking is available at both ends of the trail.
Halfway along the trail is Kenthurst Village where there is a small supermarket, café, and local park with a playground for the children.
Round Corner is a larger commercial centre with a small shopping centre with several cafes, supermarkets, and specialty shops.
Toilet facilities are available at Kenthurst Park, John Benyon Rotary Park, and at the shops at Round Corner.
Building the Cycleway – Stage I
Kenthurst Village - Park Road. Pitt Town Road - Burrell Road
Prior to 1990, there were no footpaths in Kenthurst. Local residents Marion and Eric Wood petitioned Baulkham Hills Council to consider building a footpath to ensure the safety of local children riding their bikes along Pitt Town Road. It took a community to pull it off!
