A small series of caches around Budleigh Salterton celebrating the red telephone boxes that we once had around the town. There used to be a phone box just outside what used to be the post office and stores opposite, along with the post box. Cache is located across the road so it is "less in the open". Please note the important comments in the hint.
For those of you wondering where cache 2 is located, its original intended location was the junction of Bedlands Lane and Barn Lane, however this is directly opposite St Peter's Primary and the reviewers felt it too close to the school. However a walk round the area didnt highlight anywhere that I could hide the cache without it being so detached from the reason it was hidden in the first place, so I will be thinking of other options for this and also the phone box in the sorting office wall at the Lawn (8 in my series), as well as the phone box at East Budleigh Village Hall which are too close to existing caches to be allowable.
