Whilst setting up a new series of caches in Budleigh, one of which was at the location of the AA sentry box at Knowle Corner, I was researching pictures and remembered that I had previously logged a cache in this location. Now archived. After a lot of trawling through my finds, I eventually found the cache, but its name bore no relationship to the actual sentry box. So I thought I would ressurect the cache as there are only a few of these boxes left in the country. An important part of motoring history. Woodbury 238 refers to the original telephone number as per AA records.
Parking in the layby and can be easily done as a cache and dash but please be aware that this is a busy road with a 50 speed limit. Dont try and U turn out of the layby. There are turning points in both directions within a couple of hundred yards. Container is a cliplock box with space for small TBs.
Here is a list of the remaining boxes, care of the detail from another cache elsewhere in the country.

And whilst I was discussing the cache with a work colleague, Snell's Pace, he rembered that there was a now archived cache that pre-dated the one above by Stuey, which was a multi, with the start point here. https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCJB4Y
