Geocache Description:

Other type of container on what was once a beautiful hackberry tree, but is now a tree trunk. (The tree was still intact when the cache was placed.)  You will need your phone for the code. No need to worry if muggles are at the park. They can touch it, but they can't access the log without having a geocaching account! Large enough for small trackables. The original Prairieton School sign is placed at the NE corner of the park. Permission received for the container to be placed on the tree.

Interesting bit of history...The house to the south of the tree, is where the Infang Brother's General Store once stood in the early 1900's. It is said that the homeowners have possession of the Infang brother's school books from the late 1800's. Only accessible with gloves on. The homeowners are not happy about cutting the tree down b/c they know this tree was here when the Infang Brother's General Store was open and thriving in this area. It's the last tree on the property from that era.
