We have a magical goat named Alpha Falfa. He is a very helpful goat. He brings in the groceries, takes out the trash, cuts the grass—well, eats the grass. But what we love the most is how entertaining he is. Every Saturday night, he dresses in a tuxedo and dances the foxtrot. On Sundays, he plays golf. 36 holes! He is very popular at the golf course, dressed in his plus fours and newsboy hat. When he won the club championship, a great cheer went up: “Bravo!”
One day, he went missing, and we were very sad. We searched everywhere and put three ads in the newspaper. After two weeks, we had almost given up when we got an envelope in the mail. It was an invitation to his wedding at a fancy hotel in Denver called Six Goats. After the wedding, he moved back home and brought along his bride, Lemon Verbena. Every Saturday night, they dress up and dance the cha-cha through the neighborhood.
