The old Water Intake Tower in the southwest corner of Lake Fayetteville would make a great spot for a geocache. Unfortunately, it is strictly off limits. So we decided to do the next best thing, and make it the focal point of this puzzle.
THE POSTED COORDINATES ARE EXACTLY HALFWAY BETWEEN THE CACHE AND THE LONGER BENCH.
The Longer bench is located along the paved trail running along the western shore of the lake.
***Please do not try to approach the tower! There is no cache there, and trespassing will NOT help find this cache in any way!***
We don't think this one will be easily solved without going onsite. Cache is a pill bottle that we stocked with a wooden cross, a polished stone and a tungsten bead. None of our current trackables would fit.
Our caches are meant to be found, so we'll provide as much additional help as your pride will permit.
