Geocache Description:

You are looking for a Genie's lamp, a little way off the trail linking Dequindre to Stony Creek. We have included a token gift and encourage all cachers to take and re-gift when you find the cache.

OLD JOE is the Name of the Clock on the University Clock-Tower in our home town of Birmingham, UK; and it is the tallest free-standing clock tower in the world, standing at 100m (330ft) tall.. It is named after Joseph Chamberlian, Birmingham's most loved Mayor and brother of Sir Neville Chamberlain, who led the UK into WWII as Prime Minister. The Old Joe clock tower is thought to be the inspiration for J.R.R.Tolkein's Orthanc - "The Black Tower of Isengard" as featured in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
