The Cache;
The cache is a small tablock box with swaps and a logbook. Bring your own pen.
The Location;
The cache is located on a busy road near a bend, so please be careful when searching. Although there is a grass verge there is no pavement so please keep children near to hand. Please only attempt if you feel it is safe to do so. This cache should not be attempted at night. Please also do not park on the bridge, parking coordinates have been provided. On a clear day there are also beautiful views onto Binevenagh.

The History;
The Limavady Railway link by means of a branch line to the main Londonderry - Belfast line was closed on 2 May 1955. The spur ran from Limavady Junction to Limavady Station. The line then continued a further 7 miles to Dungiven. The Limavady to Dungiven section of the line was closed on 3 July 1950.
The terminus, Dungiven railway station, opened on 4 July 1883, closed for passenger traffic on 1 January 1933 and finally closed altogether on 3 July 1950.
Although the line was removed, remnants of the line can be found around Limavady, including the old railway bridge, Scott's Bridge, where the cache is located, outside Limavady on the Seacoast Road.
