Geocache Description:


This should be a simple 2-stage multi.  The final container is a silver bison tube, within walking distance of the posted coordinates.  Parking can be found on Palmerston Ave or at Dufferin Park.

To locate this cache:

At the posted coordinates, you will find a plaque with information pertaining to the Ontario School for the Blind, the first dedicated school for the blind in the province.

To Find the North Coordinates:

Take the month and day the school opened (for example, May 5th would be 055) and multiple this by the number of students who attended in 1872. Divide thisd answer by 1000. Add this to the following meaningless coordinates: N 43 08.324

To Find the West Coordinates:

Take the year that that the name was changed to the W. Ross Macdonalfd School and divide by 1000. Add this number to the following meaningless coordinates: W 080 14.858
