3257 days ago, I hid this geocache. But I did not submit it for publication.
Time passed. In the time that has passed since I placed the geocache, I have traveled past this spot many times. I have stopped at the rest stop many times for different reasons - sometimes just to rest, sometimes to hide or maintain other nearby geocaches. But in that 3257 days, I have never submitted this geocache for publication and I have never checked on it. But you can see how I have been keeping close track of it from the background image. 
Today I checked on it. The container is in great shape and the log sheet is pristine.
To get to this geocache, if you are westbound, park at the rest stop and walk to it. Do not try to drive all the way up to it from the rest stop. You could drive all the way up to it, but to do that you would need to take the freeway exit that is west of the rest stop and then come back via the service road. If you are eastbound, take the freeway exit that is west of the geocache and take the service road.
3257 days. That is over 465 weeks. That is 8 years, 11 months, and 1 day. 3257 also happens to be a prime number.
I think it is about time it finally gets published. *click*
