This is a cache in a series which provides a circular walk to/from Ickwell Green using council-registered permissive paths as well as a public bridleway and road/tracks. There is a small amount of road walking but on a very straight section. The circuit overlaps for a short stretch with another of our series: The Three Greens Walk.
This particular cache is at the start of the permissive path which was set up to let pedestrians and horses avoid traffic going around the tight corner here. There are a few shallow steps by which the cache is hidden. This was the first part of the permissive path that was created, with an extension following a few years later.
