Geocache Description:

During Prohibition, Franklin County was nicknamed by the locals "The Moonshine Capital of the World", as moonshining and bootlegging were extremely popular in the area.  During that time, it is said that more sugar was delivered to Boones Mill than to New York City.  Notable bootlegging busts have been made for years in Franklin County, the most recent one in 2001.  Franklin County continues to be called "The Moonshine Capital of the World", and in 2000 the local chamber of commerce adopted the title as part of its heritage.  Moonshine is still being made in this area. After grabbing the cache, you may like to check out the geocache on the nearby trails behind the town of Boones Mill.

You will need some stealth to avoid the 220 Muggles zooming by catching you looking for this cache!  Business owner graciously approved the placement of this geocache.  Bring Your Own Pen.

**Congrats to Duke V for being the FTF!**
