Deerfield Village was the first community built by Friendswood Development Corp which at the time was a subsidiary of Exxon. Construction was started in 1975 and the most recent home was completed in the mid 1990s. Part of the neighborhoods charm is that all homes are custom built, so no two look exactly the same. One of the wonderful features of the neighborhood in the creek running through the middle of the neighborhood and the walking trail around it. This trail is heavily utilized by residence, so some stealth will be required as muggle traffic can be quite high.
