Flying High :)
The Bunyan Airfield, North of Cooma has been used by the Canberra Gliding Club for over fifty years. It offers pilot training in gliders, air experience flights and advanced wave soaring.
It also provides members with an aircraft for training, gliding, cross-country and competition flying. There is a club house and hangar facilities on the airfield.
The local scenery is very special and under the right conditions from above 7000ft, you can see from the NSW snowfields to the Tasman Sea.
