This area has seen a lot of use and abuse by humans over the years, with obvious signs of mining and dumping (not to mention damming) nearby. This cache name is inspired by the plastic fiberous sheets that were probably used to cover the back fields of Alstede Farm to the east, which were likely blown off the fields and into the trees here. Now microfiber plastic waste is daggling everywhere from the branches and scattered about on the ground. Since the cache we placed just after Christmas on a foggy, grey day, the name suggested itself. Bit of a steep climb up from the old railroad bed, right at the end.
