The two ghostly figures roamed the cemetery. They had been there for hours searching in the front, the back, the middle, across the tracks, in the field, etc. until there was nowhere else to look.
"Oh Hiram," Anna said. "I just don't know where else to look. What a horrrible mess we are in. All I want to do is to find our graves so we can get some sleep before dusk comes and we can go out again to do some haunting, um, I mean hunting
."
Hiram let out an exasperated sigh. "I know. I never would have thought that Sirus and Bessie would remember into the afterlife that time we moved their outhouse. Who would have guessed it bothered them so much, it was only about 50 feet away and we helped move it back for goodness sakes. You know, some ghosts just can't take a joke!"
Anna started towards the back again with Hiram floating not far behind her.
"Well, I do have a picture of the grave site but the headstone is invisible. I know it may be a ghost of a chance but maybe Sandra (GC9JQPE) could advise us," Anna said wistfully.
"But Anna, I don't know how we hold of her," Hirum mused, scratching the top of his white, milky, bald head.
Anna thought about it for a few minutes then yelled, "I GOT IT! Those geocaching humans, the ones who helped Sandra! Let's write a note. They can use their ultraviolet light to read it. That Team Doxie seemed like an extremely nice couple and extremely smart. They did the article for Sandra, I just bet they would do another one for us too!"
"Yes! And the other geocachers won't need any TOTT because Team Doxie is helping us and will tell them what thye need to know. Anna, not only are you boo-tiful, you're smart too! Well, garsh almighty then, we can't lose our lives trying it, we're already dead. Let's live a little and give it a go! This will be spook-tacular." Hiram chuckled.
After Miram and Anna composed their request, they watched as Team Doxie used their special tool to decipher the couples grave request. With the picture and the deciphered letter in hand, the Doxie's were able to recount Hiran and Anna's complicated problem.

So that is how we got to this point. It appears, humans (specifically geocachers) can see invisible headstones during the day when the spirits are not allowed to roam. Below is a picture of Hiram and Anna's family grave area with all the headstones there except for their family monument. Your job is to help Anna and Hiram by finding the area and answering the questions below to solve for final coords. Sign the log and the family stone will stay visible. Let's hope we can help our very own ghost writers - Hiram and Anna!
The posted coords will take you to Wauseon Union Cemetery. From there you will need to drive among the headstones and find the location Anna took the picture from. Once you have uncovered the missing stone, use the information on it, and on Hiram and Anna's nearby individual gravestones, which are located just the the left of the missing monument, to calculate the coordinates for the cache log that needs signed for the family monument to remain visible.
Known info: N41 32.ABC W 084 08.XYZ
A) Take the surname on the missing family monument and using the alphabetic value (a=1, b=2,), add the value of the 6th and 8th letters together for A.
B) Take the surname on the missing family monument and using the alphabetic value (a=1, b=2,), subtract the value of letter 4 from the value of letter 5 for B.
C) How many years was Hiram born before Anna? This is C.
X) Find Anna's death year. X is the last digit.
Y) Find Hiram's birth year. Y is the first digit.
Z) Find Anna's birth year. Add the last two digits together to get Z.
PLEASE be CAREFUL with the cache container and replace as found.

There should be no reason to remove the host, just the pertinent log container. "The pertinent container?" you ask. Yep, His or Hers. If done correctly, there should be two FTF's for this cache. One for the guys, one for the gals. A FTF from a geocaching team can choose which one of the two but only one.
Please remember to respect the area and obey all cemetery rules. Bring your own writing utensil, play fair, replace as found, be safe, CITO if needed, practice kindness, and enjoy the adventure. Very small swag only.
